At Zen, we have been passionate about embracing change, particularly in the realm of technology, as we navigate a changing business landscape.
We have utilised technology to optimise our processing time, allowing us to spend more time with our clients. We’ve been a paperless practice for around ten years. When the recent pandemic arrived, it had little effect on our operations. This meant we were able to service and assist our clients through those difficult times.
There are many changes coming for the accountancy profession and our clients. HMRC’s Making Tax Digital(MTD) is imminent, and we will be providing solutions for our clients in navigating this. Artificial Intelligence(AI) is also working its way into many of our operations.
The Zen team recently met with AI expert John Turner to chat about how this will affect the profession and some practical approaches we need to take.
Here’s John’s Impressive CV:
As an Oxford University-qualified AI consultant at AI Leadership Consulting, I specialise in leveraging my expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning to guide organisations in adopting and integrating these transformative technologies. My role encompasses strategic consulting, leadership development, cultural change management, AI ethics, and digital transformation.
With a robust background in leading teams through large-scale digital marketing initiatives and digital transformation projects, I hold a Professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, along with Chartered status, which I have maintained for 16 years. Additionally, I have attained HNC equivalents in various artificial intelligence disciplines through esteemed institutions such as IBM, London Business School, Edinburgh University, and Babson College.
I am particularly passionate about AI ethics, having studied at The Alan Turing Institute at a consulting level. I am dedicated to fostering a culture that embraces technological innovation while prioritising ethical practices.
