Why is my normally placid 4 year old cat suddenly starting to hiss and spit at his brother?
This has never happened before but now its twice in the last week. There doesn’t appear to be any reason for it and afterwards he acts as if nothing out of the ordinary has happened.
His brother could be making him mad!
Its a tough world out there, maybe its just growing pains or perhaps Cranky Cat is having a bad day and doesn’t want to be bothered by little brother.
It’s probably because they’re fighting for territory, who will control the land. Family relationships don’t matter to them, to them they are just cats who are a threat to their territory. Just keep them away from each other for a while and they will be fine. Or they’re just playing hunting or fighting together.
