There are many hotels that have large dining rooms/banquet halls in Lake Placid. Check out orda.org, lake-placid.ny.us. All I can tell you to do is check our places and call them to see what they can do for you.

possibly the Lake Placid pub and brewery-the upstairs is more of an eating area while the downstairs has more of a bar feel, not sure how the whole age 16 thing could effect it though… another idea might be at whiteface ski resort
