What Is The Equivalent To Japanese Zen Gardens?



I know the Japanese have a thing for Zen gardens and finding peace within them and everything but do the Chinese have anything that is like them? If so, what are they called?

    Zen in Chinese is Chan. Perhaps there are Chan gardens?
