to me, the religion of those running would help me to determine how much farther down the crap hole their going to put us, and what possible laws, etc. that they may try to enforce, which they most all have a deep effect on me, but with age and speech, it doesn'tt effect me in a negative way because I know what I can do, but some of the runners' religiouss views may provokee them to do more stupid..... like putting bush in office, and then reelecting him makes it worse! they also don't care to much about lawenforcementt, here in the northwest states (Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Montana) mostly all but Idaho has some really crookedd cops, a few years ago a pair of cops said that wecommittedd this petty crime 2.3 mile up the way, just when they got a call 15 second ago saying some kids wear smashing pumpkins, me and my 2 friends cant go 2.3 miles in about 20 seconds and not be out of breath. we even told them we can't go that far that fast and not need to rest and they said that we are lying, later one of my friends from that...incidentt, found out that night it was a friend of mine and his band. you wanna here more stories? just E-mail me!

Religion causes bigotry
Westboro Baptist Church is the clear example
with Obama hates fags signs being held , and God hates Mccain ,
and boycotting our funerals signs and saying things obsurd like we should be glad 9/11 happened .....

So it brings this sort of bigotry .....
If your a christian in my eyes I question your santity because you are saying you believe in superstition , talking snakes , angels sometimes , demons , and other non-proveable things , so if someone says there christian I am more likely to doubt anything that person says but in Politics everyones a christian but once they say that I do a fact check to make sure what they tell me is accurate information.

Religion should play no part in Politics , this is how we have brough about Facism by definition Organized religion teaming up with the Government to make political decision is your definition of facism , and thats exactly what we have , The seperation between church and state should be followed , and Religion should have no factor in anything....

Religion doesn't play enough of a role in my life to determine how I feel about a politicial candidate but I will tell you this, I am not much a fan of either candidate (Obama or McCain) but McCain's stand against minorities (ethnic and linguistic) disgusts me. Everyone living in America be they Wasp, Hispanic, Black, Asian, Indigenous or anything else, came from somewhere else. I guess his family came to be when the Anglos met the Saxons.

Do the Leaders of the Country have good morals and values? Do their ideas fall in line with God's? Those are a few.

If you are serious, check out and get the answers to Life's Biggest questions.

The only time a persons religious beliefs or moral character might play a role is during the primaries and only if 2 candidates were sooo closely similar on the issues that I had to break the tie in some way.

This never happens. Usually there is enough differences in candidates, even in the primaries, to make a decision based solely on the issues.

In a perfect world religion really should play zero role in politics unless it was an issue about religious freedoms or making a national religion or something like that.
Since those issues rarely ever come up then religion should just not be a part of politics.

Not at all. In fact, it has nothing to do with my choice/vote. It's irrelevant to me. I want the best qualified with the most experience.

I don't care about who is religious and who is not - I am about policy and the people that are going to represent me the best. I like McCain-Palin because they are for MOST of my interests... much more so than Obama-Biden

Atheist... No One represents me 100% - but the religious republicans represent this libertarian atheist better than any democrat!
