They could teach around 6 weeks on every major religion. Christianity, Jewish beliefs,Islam,Hindu,and have a unit on Atheism too. I think it would be nice to learn about other religions and not be so ignorant to other’s beliefs. You wouldn’t be forcing religion on anyone ,simply teaching about different religions and beliefs.

Is it possible to seek Zen spirituality and still love logic and philosophy? I guess what I’m asking is: Can someone enjoy philosophy and logic if they are excluded from their spiritual quest? Please help.

To me, spirituality is a process of discovery. I think that bringing spirituality into your life is like packing for an adventure. And when you pack for an adventure, you need to pack certain things. What do you pack into your backpack for your own spiritual journey to be successful?

In other words, without religion would humans lack the capability to be “good”, or would we be good even without the presence of a divine authority judging our actions?
What is it that drives us to be “good”, god or common sense?

Personal experience testimony welcomed. Seems that all aggressive religion strains have three things in common:
1. they claim to be the only truth or at least the best purest truth
2. They claim to be the fastest growing religion in the world
3. They claim to be the only religion hated and persecuted by others

How can one religion have more evidence than the other? How can Christianity be “more right” than a Pagan or a Wiccan religion?
And please don’t cite “proof” from you religious texts since they are not obejctive scientific facts but just assumptions.

I am hindu and my wife is a muslim and we both got married under Special Marriage Act 1954. Can our kids have any one of our religions. I need a legal advice on this. Does law permits to have any religion of the parents or just the religion of the father.
