Are there any programs out there that would let me create 3D landscapes?



I want to know if there are any programs out there that will allow me to create 3D model characters. Also if there are softwares that will let me create 3D landscapes.

    You could do that on any 3D modeling software. Try:

    Swift 3D – by Electric Rain
    3D Studio Max – by Autodesk
    Maya – by Autodesk
    The Sims LOL (well you could take a screenshot :D )

    You can use blender 3d, it is a free, open source program and it is great for modeling, landscapes or characters. Maya and 3d studio max cost around $1000. Go to to download it.
